Lawrence County’s three-headed monster shredded Magoffin County’s defense as the Bulldogs steamrolled the Hornets, 47-6, in the Class3A playoff opener played at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Field on Friday night.
The Bulldogs, now 8-3, will face Belfry in the district title game at Haywood Field on Friday night. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
Running back Dylan Ferguson rushed for 136 yards on eight carries and one touchdown, Douglas Hall added 110 yards and a score on eight carries while Blue Fletcher finished with 106yards and two touchdowns on just nine rushes.
Quarterback Alex Strickland ran for a touchdown along with Cody Crum and Kaden Gillispie.
