Martin County was clicking on all cylinders as the Cardinals dismantled Leslie County, 41-19, in the season opener played at The Rock on Friday night.
Running back Dawson Mills had his way with the Eagles defense, rushing for 244 yards on 20 carries and three touchdowns.
Brock Messer finished with 105 yards and a score on just six rushes while quarterback Weston Jude ran for a score. He passed for 58 yards and one touchdown.
Julian Stafford caught a pair of passes for 40 yards and a TD.
Martin County returns to action at Greenup County (1-0) on Aug. 26. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 pm.
