Shelby Valley continued its dominance of Bath County as the Wildcats rolled to a 70-22 win in the district matchup played at Teco Field on Friday night.
Quarterback Russ Osborne set a new single game passing record with 421 yards as Valley improved to 5-4 overall and beat Bath County for the sixth time in seven all-time meetings.
Osborne, who completed 13 of 18 passes, tossed five touchdown passes and ran for two others.
Running back Jayden Newsome ran for 127 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries and he hauled in four passes for 97 yards and two other scores.
Ethan Bentley rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on just six attempts. Receiver Brady Bentley had three catches for 155 yards and two scores. Jordan Ratliff added a TD reception.
Shelby Valley will close out the regular season at Hazard (6-4) this coming Friday night at Daniel Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
