Pikeville turned big plays into a big road win over Letcher Central on Friday night.
Quarterback Isaac McNamee passed for 271 yards and five touchdowns as the Panthers crushed the Cougars, 48-7, in the game played at Cougar Field.
Receiver Zac Lockhart hauled in eight catches for 176 yards and three scores as the Panthers improved to 3-0. He had TD passes of 67, 47 and 31 yards He also had an interception.
Running back Blake Birchfield ran for 201 yards and two touchdowns, including a 65-yard score on the first play from scrimmage. He also ran 23 yards to paydirt.
Grant Scott and Wade Hensley each has a touchdown reception.
Central quarterback Carson Adams passed for 115 yards and one touchdown. He was picked off three times. Receiver Nicholas Haning caught seven passes for 99 yards and one score.
