Pikeville and Johnson Central remain No. 1 and No. 2 in the next to last Mountain Top Sports regular season Super 7 football poll released on Tuesday.
The Panthers improved to 8-2 following a 17-0 win over Hazard to claim the district title this past Friday night
The Golden Eagles, 7-2, cruised to a 58-18 win over Letcher Central to win the district crown.
Belfry (4-5) climbed to third following a district championship win over Pike Central.
Lawrence County, now 7-2, is fourth, followed by Letcher Central at No. 5. The Cougars are 6-2.
Rounding out the poll are Martin County (7-3) in sixth, followed by Logan (6-3) at No. 7.
Receiving votes are Betsy Layne (7-2), Shelby Valley (5-4) and Paintsville (4-5).
