Pikeville used a big third quarter to pull away and beat Boyd County, 39-15, in the regular-season finale played on the road on Friday night.
The Panthers improved to 7-2, and now the two-time defending Class 1A champions are set to host Harlan ( 2-8) at Hillard Howard Field this Friday.
Running back Brenden Anthony rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries and Deonte Stevens added a rushing score.
Quarterback Isaac Duty completed 11-of-14 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns, both to Bradyn Hall.
