Pikeville continued its dominance on the gridiron as the Panthers scored their fifth straight win, 44-15, over Sayre in Lexington on Friday night
Quarterback Isaac Duty passed for 271 yards and a pair of touchdown passes, both to Wade Hensley, as the Panthers won their fifth straight game and moved to 5-2.
Running back Blake Birchfield had 100 yards on the ground and two rushing scores while Tayvian Boykins and Duty added a running touchdown each. Boykins caught four passes for 61 yards.
Hensley had four catches for 164 yards. His TD receptions covered 80 and 58 yards.
Pikeville will return to action at Somerset next Saturday as the Panthers face Russellville (1-6) in a rematch of the 2021 championship game. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
