HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Scott holds off Logan in Class AA showdown

Logan’s late comeback against Class AA power Scott came up short as Skyhawks escaped with a 29-20 home win on Friday night.

The Wildcats dropped to 5-2 while top-ranked Scott improved to 7-0.

Aiden Slack caught a pair of touchdown passes in the loss from backup quarterback Drew Berry. Running back Gabe Workman added a short TD run to pull Logan to within eight points with over seven minutes to play.

Berry passed for 227 yards.

Logan will travel to Liberty-Raleigh (1-5) on Friday night. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
