Lawrence County turned the football over twice down the stretch as Boyd County defeated the Bulldogs, 22-14, at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Field on Friday night.
The loss dropped the playoff-bound Bulldogs to 6-3 heading into this week’s regular season finale against Mason County (6-3).
Quarterback Talan Pollock had a rushing touchdown and finished with 58 yards on nine carries. He passed for 101 yards but was picked off three times.
Running back Caven Williams added a two-yard rushing touchdown.
