Shelby Valley scrambled to get a football game late in the week and Harrison County answered the call.
The Wildcats outgained the Thorobreds in total offense but lost on the scoreboard, falling 29-14, in a game played on the road Friday night.
Quarterback Russ Osborne passed for 131 yards and one touchdown as Valley dropped to 6-2. Running back Jayden Newsome was a workhorse foe the Wildcats He rushed 25 times for 127 yards and a score.
Anthony Pallotta hauled in two passes for 79 yards and a touchdown Keian Worrix had two receptions for 41 yards.
Lincoln Billiter led the defense with 10 tackles.
Shelby Valley will host Fleming County (3-2) next Friday night at Teco Field Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
