Lawrence County goalkeeper Trenton Adkins recorded his third shutout this season as the Bulldogs blanked East Carter, 5-0, in a home match played on Saturday.
Luke Johnson scored three goals and assisted on two others as the Bulldogs improved to 3-0-1. Blake Maynard added two goals and two assists and Adkins assisted on one goal.

Paintsville earned its first win this season in three matches as the Tigers turned back Jackson City, 6-4, in a home match played on Saturday.
Ashton Miller knocked home three goals while John Zeiden scored one goal and assisted on another. Owen Trador and Dylan Pugh each had one goal apiece.
Ethan Adams had two assists while Jacob Patel, Michael Stafford, and Om Patel added one each.
Goalkeeper Leland Tackett finished with eight saves.
