Johnson Central punched its ticket to the 57th District tournament finals with a 3-1 win over Martin County in a match played at The Rock on Monday night.
Lakin Bentley scored two goals and assisted on one other by Haley Lykins as the Lady Eagles improved to 8-5-3.
Goalkeeper Clara Blair had six saves.
Martin County’s only goal came off the leg of Kaitlyn Gauze.

Defending champion Prestonsburg survived postseason elimination in a shootout as they edged Paintsville, 3-2, in the 57th District tournament opener played at The Rock on Monday night.
Anna Burchett and Kadynce Hackworth had one goal each and Chloe Collins added an assist as the Lady Blackcats improved to 17-1.
Goalkeeper Lindsey Stratton had three saves and was solid in the extra play.
Camryn Helton and Leandra Curnutte each scored a goal for the Lady Tigers, whose season ended at 11-10-1.
Goalkeeper Chelsea Reynolds stopped 17 shots.

Belfry’s Myra Bevins scored a hat trick in leading the Lady Pirates to a 5-2 win over Pikeville in the 58th District tournament opener played at Lawrence County High School on Monday night.
In addition to her three goals, Bailey McCoy and Makenna Justice added one each as Belfry moved to 8-10-1. Hannah Cobb has two assists.
Jazzy Cline stopped four shots on goal.
Rylee Theiss had a goal for Pikeville, which ended the season at 4-11-1. Goalkeeper Larren Collins had 14 saves.

Lawrence County’s Brylee Blair knocked home four goals and added two assists to lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 13-0 win over Shelby Valley in the 58th District tournament opener played in the home turf Monday night.
Alyssa Moore and Jasmine Justice followed with two goals and three assists each as Lawrence County improved to 12-6.
Alyssa Howard added two while Shelby Borders, Katy Compton and Maggie Johnson scored one each.
Kaison Ward and Johnson combined to shutout the Lady Kats.
