Lawrence County held on down the stretch to slip past Perry Central, 3-2, in the Kentucky 2A semi-state matchup played in Louisa on Thursday night.
The Lady Bulldogs will advance to the championship match to be played against Bardstown on Sept. 16.
Maggie Johnson scored one goal and assisted on one other while Brylee Blair and Keandra Curnutte added one goal each.
Goalkeeper Abby Maynard stopped five shots.

Livie Thacker scored one goal and added an assist while Leighan Jackson had two assists.

Prestonsburg standout and Kentucky’s all-time leading scorer Anna Burchett knocked home eight goals to power the Lady Blackcats to an 11-1 win over Martin County in the 15th Region All A Classic match played at StoneCrest Soccer Complex on Wednesday night.
Jade Fitzpatrick scored two goals and had an assist while Sophie Stephens scored once.
Emily Burchett assisted on seven goals. Abby Moore and Kendyl Stephens each added an assist.

Anna Burchett knocked home eight goals while Jade Fitzpatrick net four. Hannah Blankenship, Emily Burchett, Hanah Trimble, Sophie Stephens, and Abby Moore scored twice each.
Maggie Nelson and Leah Burchett had one goal apiece. Goalkeeper Lindsey Stratton recorded the shutout.
