Paintsville continued its mid-season turnaround with an 11-3 win over Prestonsburg in a game played at StoneCrest on Tuesday night.
Maggie Music belted a home run, singled twice, scored three runs and knocked in two. Ashley Wells had three hits, including a pair of doubles, batted in three runs, and scored three times.
Madison Trimble doubled, walked two times, scored once, and added a pair of RBIs. Kira Ratliff added two singles, walked, batted in one run, and scored.
Molly Music was the winning pitcher. She allowed just one hit and fanned 16 batters.
Rachael Roberts had an RBI double in the loss. Tiffany Risner walked twice and scored both times.
Kaylee Hackworth was the losing pitcher.
