The No. 18 jersey will always live deep in the hearts of Pikeville High School softball players.
The 19th annual Lyndel Potter Memorial Softball Tournament will be played at Myers Field on Friday and Saturday.
Potter played for the Lady Panthers from 2000-02. She lost her life in a tragic car accident during the summer before her senior year. There will be an opening ceremony before the first games Friday evening.
Teams participating this weekend include the host Lady panthers, Tug Valley, Paintsville, Russell, Pike Central, Shelby Valley, Grant County and Elizabethtown, Tenn.
