Pikeville’s Cassidy Slater tripled twice and doubled, drove in three runs, and scored three times as the Lady Panthers blanked East Ridge, 14-0, in a 59th District matchup played at Myers Field on Tuesday.
Izzy Rose doubled and knocked in four runs. Kelsie Adams and winning pitcher Emily Ford had a pair of RBIs each.
Hannah Akers and Olivia Hall both singled in one run and scored.
Anabeth Wright had the only hit for the Lady Warriors.

Lawrence County overcame an early three-run deficit to slip past Floyd Central, 6-4, in the Kentucky 2A, Section 8 semifinals played in Louisa on Tuesday night.
Kensley Feltner blasted a solo home run in the win. She also walked and had a pair of RBIs. Shelby Blevins added two hits, one a double, and batted in one. Bree Jones had two hits, scored one run, and added an RBI. Danielle Crum walked twice and had an RBI.
Emma Dudleson slammed a three-run homer for the Lady Jaguars in the loss. Grace Martin added an RBI single.
Chelsea Johnson collected two hits and scored while Allyson Stumbo singled and scored.

Emalie Tackett belted a two-run homer and Livia Sanders doubled twice, scored twice, and added a pair of RBIs.
Taylor Hannah had three hits, including a double, scored one run and drove in another. Winning pitcher Chloe Hannah doubled and singled while knocking in a run. Cailyn Holbrook added an RBI hit.
