Man High School will be among seven Class AA schools in West Virginia to reclassify beginning with the 2020-21 school year.
The Hillbillies will move from Class AA down to Class A, it was announced following the long-awaited West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission reclassification numbers.
Man will be joined by RiverView, Petersburg and James Monroe.
Mingo Central will remain Class AA with an enrollment of 710, followed by Chapmanville with 703 and Logan at 641.
Man has 420 students and Tug Valley numbers 360.
Morgantown, with 1,851 students, the largest in Class AAA while Fairmont Senior with 799 students is the largest in Class AA. Ravenswood with 450 leads Class A schools.
