Betsy Layne moved to 2-0 on the season following a 3-0 win over Lawrence County in a match played at Junior Newsome Arena on Thursday.
Madi Meade totaled 46 digs in the 25-17, 25-9, and 25-23 win. Emily Johnson added six kills, 25 digs, and four serving aces. Madison Hamilton totaled 10 kills, eight plays, four digs, and three serving aces.

Paintsville dominated from the very outset as the Lady Tigers blanked cross-town rival Johnson, 3-0, in a match played on Thursday night.
Hailey Little had finished with 12 kills, 13 digs, and four serving aces in the 25-11, 25-17, and 25-23 win. Kara Ward totaled 11 kills and 13 digs. Blair Ratliff had eight kills and three blocks.
Emma Music totaled 13 digs and Mattie Ratliff had 11. Kynzi Slone finished with 29 assists and five digs.
