PIKEVILLE – Pikeville overcame a deficit in overtime to rally and beat Belfry, 62-68, in a game played at the T.W. Oliver Memorial Gymnasium on Thursday night.
Kelsey Jo Tackett led the Lady Panthers, now 19-4, with 17 points and eight rebounds and Trinity Rowe finished with 16 to lead the way. Kirsten Cole-Williamson followed with 15 points and eight boards.
Belfry, now 12-11, was led by Katie Ball’s game-high 19 points and 21 rebounds as she finished with a double-double. Cushi Fletcher tallied 17 and Kyera Thornsburg hit for 10. Linzee Phillips chipped in nine.
The two teams will meet again at Goody on Feb. 17.
