Pikeville and East Ridge earned spots in the 15th Region All “A” Classic tournament semifinals with victories at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Tuesday night.

Pikeville’s Rylee Sammons hit the winning basket in overtime as Pikeville escaped Betsy Layne, 77-75.
Sammons poured in a game-high 30 points as the Panthers improved to 1-1. Laithan Hall followed with 14 while Zac Lockhart added nine.
Brady Robinson paced the Bobcats, now 1-3, with 25 points. His three-point basket at the end of regulation tied the game at 67-all. Jordan Frazier finished with 18 while Andrew Kidd tallied15 and Chase Mims tallied 12.

East Ridge landed four players in double-figure scoring as the Warriors rolled past Phelps, 74-52.
Braxton Stanley fired n a game-high 20 points as East Ridge improved to 3-0. Eli Rose scored 18 while Issac Woods netted 15 and Eli Sykes chipped in 13.
Dominick Francis paced the Hornets, now 0-3, with 13 points and Jaeshon Nugent followed with 12. Mason Prater net 11.
