WINCHESTER – Shelby Valley landed three players in double-figure scoring as the Lady Cats edged Scott, 73-68, in the MLK Jr. Classic played at George Rogers Clark High School on Saturday.

Alyssa Newsom finished with 24 points and Tori Hampton added 14 as Valley improved to 12-5. Kelsey Owens added 12.
