HS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Valley hammers BL; Tug edges St. Joe

ROBINSON CREEK – Shelby Valley jumped out to a big lead early and went on to slam dunk Betsy Layne, 83-57, in a game played at the Shelby Valley Sports Center on Tuesday.

Cody Potter poured in 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double as the Wildcats improved to 11-3. Elijah Sykes followed with 18 points and seven rebounds and Kaden Robinson net 17 points. Keian Worrix chipped in eight points and dished out 14 assists and had three steals.

Jordan Frazier paced the Bobcats, now 9-5, with 22 points while Chase Mims and Lukas Manns followed with 11 each.
