Magoffin County quarterback Lucas Litteral passed for 299 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Hornets to a 56-8 victory over Martin County in a game played at MCHS Stadium on Friday night.
Receiver Adan Barnett hauled in six passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns and Brad Standifur had three catches for 107 yards and a score. Barnett also rushed for a touchdown and Isaiah Salyer added a TD reception.
Ben Lafferty returned a pair of Martin County fumbles for touchdowns.
Martin County running back Kolby Sparks had 69 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries. He also ran in the conversion. Quarterback Charles Bowen passed for 135 yards in the loss. Parker Davis had three catches for 75 yards.

Harlan quarterback Connor Scearse tossed a pair of touchdown passes and he rushed for 98 yards and two other scores as the Dragons knocked off East Ridge, 29-18, in a game played at the Reservation on Friday night.
Evan Browning and Jeremiah Mills each had a TD reception.
East Ridge’s Isaiah Adkins ran 18 times for 135 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Jeremy Taylor added 63 yards rushing in the loss.
The Warriors will host Prestonsburg on Sept. 25. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Betsy Layne quarterback Chase Mims had a big night, passing for 283 yards and two touchdowns but it was not enough as Knott Central beat the Bobcats, 16-12, in a matchup played on Friday night.
Nicholas Howell had eight catches for 104 yards and one score and Brady Robinson finished with 100 yards and a TD reception on eight catches.
Betsy Layne, now 0-2, will host Phelps (0-2) on Sept. 25. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
