Letcher Central goalkeeper Nate Cook saved six shots on goal and was solid between the pipes as the Cougars shutout Harlan County, 1-0, in a match played at Cougar Field on Tuesday.
It was his second straight shutout as Central moved to 2-4.
Hayden Bentley scored an unassisted game-winning goal.

Defending 15th Region champion Prestonsburg remained unbeaten as the Blackcats slipped past Perry Central, 4-1, in a road match played on Tuesday night.
Isaiah Collins had two goals as the Blackcats improved to 7-0. Matt Burchett scored one goal and had two assists while Dylan Moore added one goal.
Preston Crase and Grant Justice had one assist each.
Goalkeeper Jacob Martin limited the Commodores to just a single goal by Mason Hensley.

Lauren Johnson added two goals and Anna Burchett scored once and assisted on two others. Lauren Patton had one goal.
