Betsy Layne, Johnson Central and Pikeville completed this past weekend’s Champions of the Mountains Classic held at UPIKE Gymnasium, T.W. Oliver Memorial Gymnasium, and the Hawks Nest.
The Lady Bobcats defeated Pike Central (2-0); Belfry (2-0); and East Ridge (2-0).

Inetta Hamilton had eight kills and five digs as the Bobcats beat the Lady Hawks, 25-14 and 25-18.
Katie Kidd finished with five kills, four blocks, seven digs and two aces. Madi Meade had 17 digs and two aces while Ashley Caudill added nine digs.
In the win over Belfry, Lindsey Watkins totaled two kills, 13 assists, 13 digs and eight serving aces in the 27-25 and 25-19 match.
Emily Johnson had two kills, three assists, eight digs and seven aces. Madi Meade added seven digs.
Kidd had six kills, seven blocks and four digs in the 25-23 and 25-13 match win over East Ridge. Lindsey Watkins had 14 assists, six digs and three aces and Madi Meade totaled 13 digs. Ashley Caudill had eight.
Chloe Stewart finished with six kills and Emily Lester added seven digs for the Lady Warriors in the loss. Sarah Woods totaled 12 assists.

East Ridge’s Kiestin Coleman had seven kills and six digs to help the Lady Warriors defeated Pike Central, 2-0, in the Champions of the Mountains on Saturday.
Hannah Blackburn added seven kills while Jordyn Bailey had five digs and six serving aces. Emily Lester added eight digs. Sarah Woods had 21 assists.

Floyd Central dominated Shelby Valley from the outset as the Lady Jaguars cruised to a 2-0 victory in the Champions of the Mountains on Saturday.
Allyson Stumbo had nine kills and two blocks while Jadyn Hall totaled five kills, three assists, eight digs and one serving aces.
Caley Howard added six kills, two blocks, two digs and three aces in the 25-5 and 25-8 match.
