Belfry took a close first set and the Lady Pirates went on to beat Shelby Valley, 3-0, in a match played on Tuesday night.
Clara McNamee finished with six kills, two blocks and 11 digs in the 25-22, 25-15 and 25-14 win. Cameron Childers added 11 kills, one block, nine digs and two aces.
Hannah Fite totaled 22 digs and Summer Varney had 15. Emma Harris had three kills, 20 assists, six digs and five aces.

Magoffin County took charge early on against Piarist School and the Lady Hornets rolled to a doubleheader sweep, winning 2-0 and 2-0 in matches played on Tuesday night.
Jaden Williams had eight serving aces and Makenna Jordan followed with six in the 25-16 and 25-12 match one win.
Williams finished with 17 serving aces in the 25-5 and 25-2 win. She also had five digs. Lauryn Whitaker added four kills, two digs and one ace.

Phelps lost a close third set which allowed East Ridge to earn a 3-0 victory over the Lady Hornets at the McCoy Athletic Center on Tuesday night.
Sarah Woods finished with 10 digs and 22 assists in the win while Emily Lester had 14 digs.
Kierstin Coleman added 10 kills and Gloria Irvin added seven kills and two blocks. Hannah Blackburn totaled six aces.
Kacie Dotson had six kills and seven digs in the 25-14, 25-14 and 25-23 loss. LaRanda Francis totaled eight kills, six blocks and two digs while Jaycie Staley finished with nine digs.
