PIKEVILLE – The Chapmanville Tigers, now 17-2, claimed the No. 1 ranking in the final Mountain Top Sports boys’ Super 7 final regular-season basketball poll released on Tuesday.
Chapmanville was followed by Shelby Valley at No. 2. The Wildcats, with a record of 21-6, was followed by Martin County, now 15-12, in at No. 3.
Lawrence County (18-10) finished fourth while Logan (14-7) was fifth.
Rounding out the poll was Johnson Central (15-10) and Pikeville (14-9) tied for sixth with Paintsville (13-11) ranked No. 7.
Phelps (17-10), Betsy Layne (16-10), Mingo Central (13-7), Man (15-4) and Magoffin County (15-12) all received votes.
