Defending 15th Region champion Pikeville and newly opened Martin County are tops among teams in the first Mountain Top Sports girls Super 7 basketball poll released Tuesday.
The Lady Panthers are 4-0 while the Lady Cardinals are off to a perfect 5-0 start.
Letcher County Central (6-1) come in at No. 3, followed by Shelby Valley (3-2) in at No. 4
Rounding out the poll are East Ridge (4-2) at No. 5, Phelps (4-1) is sixth and Paintsville (4-2) claims the seventh spot.
Lawrence County (3-2) and Prestonsburg (3-3) received votes.
