PIKEVILLE – The Chapmanville Regional Tigers and Shelby Valley Wildcats continue to hold onto the top two spots in the latest Mountain Top Sports boys’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Tuesday.
The Tigers are 15-2 following their recent home win over bitter-rival Logan while the Wildcats are 19-5.
Lawrence County (18-9) is third, followed by Martin County (12-12) in fourth place.
Rounding out the poll are Paintsville (12-10) at No. 5; Betsy Layne (14-8) is sixth and Pikeville (13-9) is seventh. The Panthers are tied with Johnson Central (14-9).
Logan (11-7), Man (13-3), Mingo Central (10-5) and Phelps (16-10) all received votes.
