Johnson Central, Belfry and Pikeville remained 1, 2, and 3 in the latest Mountain Top Sports Super 7 football poll released on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles rolled past Bell County, 36-0; the Pirates defeated Pulaski County, 33-13; and the Panthers went on the road and beat Raceland, 28-7.
Paintsville climbed over Shelby Valley to claim the No. 4 position following the Tigers come-from-behind win over East Jessamine, 39-24, on the road.
The Wildcats are fifth after knocking off Jackson County, 46-14.
Rounding out this week’s Top 7 are Martin County at No. 6. The Cardinals defeated Phelps, 52-40.
Letcher Central, following its 27-8 win over Rockcastle County, is seventh, replacing Pike County Central which fell at Perry Central.
