The 23rd class being inducted into the Williamson High School Hall of Fame has been announced, with eight individuals set to be honored in September.
Ceremonies will take place on Saturday, Sept. 16, beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
The 2021 inductees include Steven Thorn (1985); Tonya Yvonne Phillips Strother (1985); Rufus Franklin Diamond Jr., (1968); Pam Sword-Crum (1980); Dennis Hannah (1999); Clarence “Willie” Davis (1988); and Jared Blalock (1988).
Special recognition will be held during the dinner for former coach and Hall member Cecil Hatfield, who passed away this past November. He served as the committee’s President for several years.
Those wishing to attend are asked to reserve tickets ($35 for adults, $25 for students) by Saturday, Aug. 14.
