Elizabethtown took the lead late in the final quarter and beat McCracken County, 48-44, in the boys’ Sweet 16 matchup played at Rupp Arena on Wednesday afternoon.
Ayden Evans finished with a game-high 21 points, including a pair of highlight slam dunks.
Connor Miller had 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for a double-double in the loss. Jack McClune added 14.
E’town advances to face Woodford County in the quarterfinals.
