Lawrence County continued its post-season dominance as the Bulldogs blanked Betsy Layne, 9-0, in the semifinals of the 58th District tournament played at Floyd Central on Monday night.
Winning pitcher Jake Derifield allowed just one hit as the Bulldogs moved to the title game against Floyd Central.
Will Lafferty had four hits, including a double, scored twice and batted in four runs. Abner Collinsworth doubled and singled, and scored one run. Eli Fletcher singled in one run.
Losing pitcher Keaton Brown had the only hit for the Bobcats.

Taylor Blevins tossed a no-hitter as the Lady Bulldogs advanced to the championship game.
Kensley Feltner singled, walked twice, scored two runs, and batted in three. Abby Nelson singled and drove in three runs and scored.
Leah Branham doubled in two runs and scored while Ella Fitzpatrick doubled and batted in two. Shelby Blevins singled and knocked in a pair of runs.
Kaylee Hackworth was the losing pitcher.
