Floyd Central took the lead early against Prestonsburg and the Lady Jaguars rolled to a 13-6 win in the nightcap of the 58th District tournament played at Langley on Tuesday.
Chelsea Johnson had four extra base hits, scored twice, and batted in three runs as Floyd Central moved to 14-16. Ashley Bellamy doubled and singled, scored one run and drove in two runs.
Hannah Lewis tripled and walked while scoring three runs and adding an RBI. Grace Martin singled twice, batted in one run, and scored.
Emma Dudleson doubled and walked, scored one run, and added a pair of RBIs. Cadyn Roberson was the winning pitcher.
Lainie Prater doubled in two runs and walked for the Lady Blackcats, who finished the season at 6-16. Jada Slone singled twice and walked while scoring one run and driving in one.
Hailey Cline singled in one run and scored. Haleigh Jefferson was tagged with loss.
