A season that began with lofty expectations ended on a soar note for East Ridge as the Warriors fell to Knott Central, 48-42, in a road game on Friday night.
East Ridge opened its season with back-to-back wins before losing their last eight games and missing the post-season playoffs.
Quarterback Dylan Burdine passed for 263 yards and three touchdowns. Receiver Isaiah Adkins had seven catches for 120 yards and two scores. Landon Robinson added a TD reception.
Zach Mason caught nine passes for 75 yards.
Running back Gabe Mullins carried 27 times for 126 yards and two scores. Burdine added a rushing touchdown.
Knott Central quarterback Kizer Slone passed for 387 yards and three touchdowns and running back Peyton Slone rushed for 105 yards and three scores.
