COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Wildcats sloppy in exhibition opener

Kentucky was anything but on its game against Missouri Western State, but the Wildcats managed to score a 56-38 exhibition win at Rupp Arena on Sunday night.

CJ Fredrick paced the Wildcats with 15 points and Jacob Toppin followed with 10.

Cason Wallace chipped in nine as UK held a 26-18 halftime lead.

The Wildcats will tipoff the regular season at home against Howard University on Nov. 7. Game time is 6:30 pm.
