Bell County turned back Belfry over the game’s final 18 minutes to edge the Pirates, 24-22, to beat the Pirates for the first time.
Belfry’s season ends at 8-4.
Running back Dre Young carried 31 times 200 yards and three touchdowns. The Pirates finished with 288 as a team. Young scored on runs of 28,1 and 10 yards.
The Bobcats, 11-1, built a 16-point lead before Belfry pulled even late in the second quarter.
