HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bobcats stay unbeaten with road win at Phelps

Betsy Layne built a two-touchdown halftime lead against Phelps and went to score a 32-12 win in a game played at Marty Casey Stadium on Friday night.

Quarterback Chase Mims passed for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns and added 107 yards on the ground and one score as the Bobcats improved to 6-0.

Running back Reese Music carried 19 times for 229 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Receiver Nicholas Howell hauled in 10 catches for 135 yards and a score. Brady Robinson added a TD reception on four catches for 55 yards.

Phelps receiver Cory Turnmire had two catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Bryson Locklear ran for 83 yards on 11 carries.
