Greenup County’s defense shut down Pike Central as the Hawks were beaten, 47-0, in the opening round of the Class 3A playoffs this past Friday night.
Running back Matt Anderson carried 23 times for 63 yards, half his average. He finished his career with 5,000 yards rushing.
The Hawks season ended at 3-7.
