Johnson Central needed one stop late against North Laurel to remain unbeaten.

It just was not meant to be as running back Tucker Warren scored on a one-yard run and then rushed across for the game-winning two-point conversion as the Jaguars stunned the Golden Eagles, 15-14, in a game played in London on Friday night.

Johnson Central played without star running back Carter Conley who suffered a possible season-ending leg injury on the second play from scrimmage.

Running back Zack McCoart rushed 25 times for 144 yards and a touchdown. His 68-yard run for a score late in the second quarter put the Golden Eagles on top 14-7 at the break.

Jesse McCoy’s seven-yard interception return pulled JC even at 7-all.
