Harlan County came into the Hawks Nest and used a solid ground game to pull away and beat Pike Central, 60-38, during homecoming night on Friday.
Pike Central quarterback Tayvian Boykins ran for three touchdown and passed for two others as the Hawks dropped to 1-4. He rushed for 261 yards.
Running back Matt Anderson added 118 yards rushing and one touchdown. He hauled in a 42-yard touchdown pass.
Tight end Billy Bush added a 45-yard TD reception.
Harlan County running back Demarco Hopkins ran for six touchdowns.
