Prestonsburg running back Ethan Jarvis scored on a 23-yard run with less than two minutes remaining to lift the Blackcats to a 42-36 win over East Ridge in a game played om the Reservation on Friday night.
Jarvis rushed for 241 yards and six touchdowns as Prestonsburg moved to 6-0.
East Ridge running back Isaiah Adkins carried 16 times for 220 yards and two scores. Quarterback Dylan Burdine rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Steven Layne hauled in a TD reception.
Prestonsburg will remain on the road as the Blackcats play at Shelby Valley (3-2) on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm. East Ridge (2-3) visits The Rock to battle Martin County (3-2) on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
