HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Scott pulls away late, upends Chapmanville

Chapmanville closed to within one score before Scott pulled away late, beating the Tigers, 39-19, in a game played at Skyhawk Stadium in Madison on Friday night. 

The loss was the second straight for the Tigers, now 3-2. 

Running back Kohl Farmer ran for 126 yards and a touchdown while quarterback Brody Dalton passed for 112 yards and a score. He rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown. 

Receiver Jacob Topping had a 44-yard TD pass reception. He caught two passes for 65 yards. 

Chapmanville will return home to host Herbert Hoover (2-2) at Barker Stadium on Friday night. Game time is 7 pm.
