HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Shelby Valley rolls past Bath County

Shelby Valley went on the road to Bath County and scored their fourth straight victory, beating the Wildcats in a game halted by lightning on Friday night.

Quarterback Russ Osborne continued his outstanding year, passing for 213 yards and three touchdowns, all going to Anthony Pallotta. Pallotta had four catches for 154 yards. He also ran for 51 yards and a touchdown on just 3 carries.

Running back Jayden Newsome returned and rushed for 167 yards and one score on 13 carries.

Lincoln Billiter had 14 tackles to lead the defense. Jordan Ratliff picked off a pass. Caleb Lovins followed with 11 tackles.

The Wildcats will hit the road to battle Danville on Oct. 30. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
