Chapmanville and Logan finally made it to the turf in high school football on Saturday.
The host Tigers turned back Logan, 20-6, in the opener which finally game four weeks into the season.
Tiger running back Jaxson Turner ran for 110 yards and one score on 30 carries. He also added a two-point conversion.
Running back Josh Atwood and quarterback Brody Dalton added rushing scores for the Tigers.
Kolton Goldie had the Wildcats lone touchdown on the ground.
Both teams are in action on Oct. 2 as Logan visits Tug Valley (1-0) and the Tigers travel to Summers County (2-1). Kickoff for both games is 7:30 p.m.
