Defending champion Prestonsburg and Johnson Central scored semifinal-round wins in the 15th Region tournament played at Massey Energy Soccer Complex at Goody on Tuesday night.

Prestonsburg’s Anna Burchett scored six goals, including the final four of the match, leading the Lady Blackcats to a 10-0, mercy-rule win over host Belfry.
Chloe Collins, Madeline Stambaugh, Madison Hicks, and Sophie Stephens added one each as Prestonsburg improved to 19-1.
Belfry was limited to just one shot on goal while Prestonsburg took 29.
Goalkeeper Jazzy Cline stopped 13 shots as the Lady Pirates season ended at 8-12-1.

Johnson Central’s Haley Lykins scored in the 43rd minute to account for the only goal as the Lady Eagles advanced to the title match with a 1-0 win over Lawrence County.
Clara Blair finished with six saves as Johnson Central oved to 9-6-3, setting up a rematch of the 57th District tournament finals won by Prestonsburg.
Lawrence County’s Kaison Ward stopped eight shots on goal as the Lady Bulldogs season ends at 13-7.
