Pike Central used an eight-run, fourth inning to pull away and beat Phelps, 13-3, in the semifinals of the 60th District baseball tournament played at Pike Central Park on Monday night.
The Hawks, now 17-11, advances to the title game against Belfry. The Hornets season ends at 1-11.
Patrick Mandrell belted a home run, singled, scored three runs and drove in two. Kaden Crum had two hits, including a double, batted in a pair of runs and scored.
Blake Hager had two hits, scored two runs, and added an RBI. Winning pitcher Cameron Shearer singled twice, batted in one run, and scored.
Izaac Blankenship collected three hits and scored. Luke Thornsbury singled, walked, and scored both times on base.
Ethan Wolford doubled and scored in the loss. Reece Norman added an RBI single. Owen Dotson walked and added an RBI.
Dawson McCoy was the losing pitcher.

Belfry had its hands full in getting past Phelps in the opening round of the 60th District tournament played at Buckley’s Creek on Monday night.
Lady Pirate pitcher Molly Fahm tossed a no-hitter to out-dual Phelps’ Riley Spann as Belfry advanced with a 6-0 win.
Belfry managed just two hits in advancing to face Pike Central in the championship game.
Myra Bevins singled, walked twice, and scored three runs. Zoey Caudill walked two times and scored.
Fahm walked three times and added an RBI while Natalie Fite doubled in one run.
