HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bobcats score big road win at Hurley

Betsy Layne converted on a huge fourth-down play near midfield and went on to score a touchdown to secure a hard-fought 36-28 road win over Hurley (Va.) in a game played at The Cliff on Friday night.

The Bobcats, now 4-2, amassed 389 yards on the ground, led by running back Reece Music, who carried 22 times for 262 yards and four scores.

Brady Robinson added 109 yards on the ground and Andrew McCutcheon had a rushing touchdown. Robinson hauled in a pair of passes from quarterback Carter Parsons for 59 yards.

The Bobcats will face their toughest test this season when they host the Raceland Rams (5-1) on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
