The University of Pikeville Bears held off a second-half comeback to advance to the Mid-South Conference tournament quarterfinals with a 75-71 win over Campbellsville University in a game played at the UPIKE Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Korbin Spencer led four Bears (17-12) in scoring with 15 points while Taevon Horton followed with 14. Kenyon Duling tossed in 13 and Jacob Brown added 10.
This is the 14th straight win for UPIKE over Campbellsville at home. The streak started during the 2010-11 national championship season.
