COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UPIKE women fall in overtime

The University of Pikeville Bears saw a fourth-quarter lead slip away as Freed-Hardaman rallied to win in overtime, 67-63, in the women’s Mid-South Conference matchup played in Henderson, Tenn., on Thursday night.

The loss dropped the Bears to 2-2. UPIKE will play at Bethel University on the road on Saturday, Tipoff is 2 pm.

Mary Englert paced the Bears with 20 points. Bailey Frazier followed with 15 while Morgan Stamper net 12.
